We had a wonderful time exploring the hotel's rich history. The spa suite was a lifesaver, providing a clean and cozy space for our large family, including the little ones. Plus, the location made it easy to visit nearby attractions while enjoying some quiet time.
My kids wished for a designated play area to keep them entertained while we relaxed.

Charming, Charming, Charming
I fell in love with the charming architecture, reflecting the rich history of the area. The complimentary wine hour was such a good touch, creating an inviting atmosphere to connect with fellow guests. And don’t get me started on the whirlpool tub in my suite-it was the epitome of relaxation after a day of exploring!
Totally recommend! ❤️✨

Minor improvements in bathroom fixtures would enhance comfort.

It was a good match for a little getaway in Fort Worth with high value for money. Appreciated the heavy curtains that blocked out the daylight and street noise. Make sure to get your ice from downstairs since there are no machines in the rooms.

100% recommend for a two-day stay
Charming hotel, charming atmosphere, with a beautifully restored lobby providing a quiet yet social space to relax, and a king room that was not only old-school stately but also sparkling clean, complemented by friendly service and a fitness center for convenience.

charming atmosphere near parks and tasty local eateries
My stay was delightful as I enjoyed the charming decor and the historic architecture, and the hotel’s central spot made it easy to walk to the Fort Worth Water Gardens in less than 10 minutes and grab a quick bite at one of the many nearby restaurants like Wicked Butcher just around the corner. this place truly feels like a cozy retreat for a weekend getaway, but the bathroom fixtures could use a little modernization to match the beautiful vibe of the hotel.

If you’re into epic steaks, Wicked Butcher is just a hop and a skip away, serving up USDA prime cuts that'll make your taste buds do a happy dance. The Ashton also has a killer downtown location, making it super easy to hop over to Reata Restaurant for some Texan comfort food.
On the flip side, directions from the staff were a bit hit or miss, leaving us to chase info around downtown like a scavenger hunt. Plus, we dealt with a lukewarm shower situation that took a bit too long to heat up.

The hotel exudes historical charm in the heart of Fort Worth. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, a delightful start to each day! The staff was generally friendly, though some hiccups were encountered with room issues. Future guests should ensure their requests are confirmed directly upon check-in.
